El Arte Chileno se toma Italia
El arte chileno se tomará las exposiciones en Italia durante octubre y noviembre, cuando la destacada escultora nacional, María de los Ángeles Pérez- Cotapos esté presente en la 5ta Biennale D’Arte Contemporanea Di Salerno con su obra mixta, en pintura y escultura (Vibración de los fractales del otro lado de la luna y Fractales del otro lado de la luna, respectivamente).
Chilean art takes over Italy
Chilean art will take part in exhibitions in Italy during October and November, when the prominent national sculptor, María de los Ángeles Pérez-Cotapos, will be present at the 5th Biennale D’Arte Contemporanea Di Salerno with her mixed work, in painting and sculpture (Vibración of the fractals on the other side of the moon and Fractals on the other side of the moon, respectively).

Es donde puedo expresarme y experimentar con cada una de las posibilidades y variantes que este noble material me ofrece.

It is where I can express myself and experiment with each of the possibilities and variants that this noble material offers me.
El Sentir y el Hacer
“Desde mi más temprana infancia, he trabajado, investigando y elaborado obras de cerámica y pintura. Estoy viviendo una etapa en la que quiero mostrar mis creaciones y compartir lo aprendido. El arte es parte de mí, siento que mi alma se engrandece. La arcilla y la pintura me inspiran y me cautivan, me transportan y me realizan. Se me regalan… y ese es el punto de inicio de un proceso que me conecta con mi ser interno y me permite manifestar mis percepciones, mis alegrías, mis sentimientos, la plasticidad y la estética. Es una metamorfosis en movimiento permanente.
Me conecto con la esencia de la creación, desde la espiritualidad, desde la naturaleza, desde el ser humano que se fusiona con mi querida tierra, la modelo y se transforma en una expresión propia de los sentimientos y colores.

The feeling and the doing
Since my earliest childhood, I have worked, researched and created works of ceramics and painting. I am living a stage in which I want to show my creations and share what I have learned. Art is part of me, I feel that my soul is enlarged. Clay and paint inspire and captivate me, transport me and fulfill me. They are given to me… and that is the starting point of a process that connects me with my inner being and allows me to express my appreciations, my joys, my feelings, plasticity and aesthetics. It is a metamorphosis in permanent movement.
I connect with the essence of creation, from spirituality, from nature, from the human being that merges with my beloved earth, models it and transforms it into an expression of feelings and colors.
